This Acceptable Use Policy protects BidToWinJobs users and ensures the Platform remains a safe, fair, and lawful marketplace. Violations may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

3. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited on BidToWinJobs:

✕Post false, misleading, or fraudulent job listings or bids

✕Impersonate any person or organisation

✕Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users

✕Attempt to circumvent the Platform's payment system or conduct off-platform transactions

✕Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform

✕Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code

✕Post content that infringes intellectual property rights

✕Manipulate ratings or reviews (including creating fake accounts)

✕Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, including money laundering

✕Collect or harvest other users' personal data without consent

✕Post content that is discriminatory, hateful, or sexually explicit

✕Advertise or promote third-party services unrelated to the Platform's purpose

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing use of BidToWinJobs. It applies to all users — clients, service providers, and visitors. By using the Platform you agree to comply with this AUP. Breach of this policy may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2. Permitted Use

The Platform may be used only for lawful purposes related to connecting clients with service providers for home improvement and maintenance work. Users must ensure that any services offered or requested comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations, including health and safety, employment, and trade licensing requirements.

4. Service Provider Responsibilities

Service providers must: hold all required licences and qualifications for the services they offer; carry appropriate public liability insurance; comply with UK health and safety regulations; not misrepresent their qualifications or experience; and complete accepted jobs in a professional and timely manner.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients must: provide accurate descriptions of jobs; communicate with service providers in a respectful manner; pay agreed amounts through the Platform; not cancel accepted jobs without reasonable cause; and not misuse the dispute process.

6. Content Standards

All content posted on BidToWinJobs (job listings, bids, messages, reviews) must be: accurate and not misleading; lawful and not defamatory; respectful and free from harassment; and free from personal data of third parties without consent. BidToWinJobs reserves the right to remove any content that violates these standards without notice.

7. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected breach of this AUP. Consequences may include: content removal, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, withholding of funds pending investigation, and reporting to law enforcement where required. We are not obligated to notify you before taking action if we believe there is an immediate risk.

8. Reporting Violations

If you believe another user is violating this AUP, please report it to abuse@bidtowinjobs.com with relevant details. We take all reports seriously and will investigate within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
